Tokyo Techies is seeking a talented and versatile IT Consulting and Sales Specialist who thrives in a fast-growing, dynamic startup environment.
This role combines technical consulting with strategic sales efforts to achieve ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
You will play a critical role in shaping our customer experience by delivering tailored IT consulting services while driving sales to meet and exceed targets.
Job Purpose
To lead both IT consulting and sales efforts, focusing on generating significant revenue through our One-stop IT Consulting and Product Development Services.
You will establish and manage various sales channels while collaborating closely with clients to align technical solutions with their business needs.
Responsibilities
The job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Develop high-quality sales materials based on a deep understanding of our services and products.
- Lead end-to-end sales activities, including prospecting, client engagement, and closing deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Provide technical consulting to understand client challenges and offer tailored IT solutions.
- Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Prepare and present detailed sales and consulting reports to Tokyo Techies management.

Skills and Experience
Must Have:
- Business-level Japanese communication skills or a strong willingness to learn and use Japanese in work settings.
- At least 1 year of B2B sales experience with a proven ability to win new business.
- Basic presentation skills to confidently deliver proposals and solutions to clients.
- Experience with IT solution selling, including the ability to map client needs to technical solutions.
- A flexible mindset and the ability to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in Japanese, both written and verbal.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in a startup environment, particularly in IT consulting or sales.
- Knowledge of enterprise IT solutions (e.g., SaaS platforms, cloud technologies).
Work Location
Tokyo Techies Headquarters: Higashi Ueno, Taito, Tokyo.
Flexibility for occasional remote work based on project requirements.
Working Hours
Flexible working hours with a core time from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on weekdays.
Contract Type
Full-time Regular Employee / Contract Employee.
Compensation
- Base Salary: ¥4 million to ¥8 million annually (based on experience and skill level).
- Performance-Based Bonus: Awarded every six months.
